The eligibility criteria for SBI CBO is given below:
Essential Academic Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
The date of passing examination will be the date available on the mark sheet issued by the institute/ university. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the university/ institution, a certificate issued by the authority of the University/ Institute the date will come on which the result was posted on the website.
Candidate needs to mention the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest 2 decimals in the online application.
Calculation of percentage:
Calculation of percentage= Total marks obtained by the candidate in all subjects in all the semester/ aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honors/ optional/ additional optional subjects
Age Limit(As on 1st August 2020): Candidate age must not above 30 years as on 1st August 2020 i.e. must have born not earlier than 2nd August 1990.
Eligible Candidates- Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short service commissioned officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years military service and have been released on completion of an assignment.
Experience- Minimum 2 years experience (as on 1st August 2020) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank
Local Language- Candidates who are applying for the vacancy of a state must have the 10th or 12th mark sheet for proof that they studied in the specific local language of the applied state.
Registration & Payment of Fees[Online Mode Only]
Firstly candidates need to upload their photos and signature.
Then visit the bank’s website: bank.sbi/careers or sbi.co.in/careers and open the online application form which is available under Current Openings.
Fill the application form carefully. Once the application is filled candidate should submit the data.
In the event of candidates not being able to fill the data for the first time, they can save the data already entered.
Ensure that all the details which are filled are correct. Candidates need to pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application.
The payment can done by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet banking.
After successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated which may be printed for record.
In case of online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online.
Candidate can also reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details.
Candidates who belong to General/ EWS/ OBC category are required to pay SBI CBO Application Fee while those who belongs to ST/ SC/ PWD are not required to pay the fee.

SBI CBO Selection Process
The selection of candidate will be done on the basis of shortlisting and their interview performance.
Merit List will be prepared for the selected candidates in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only.
