The CDS exam date 2020 has been announced by UPSC and as per the calendar, the UPSC CDS 2 exam 2020 will be held on 8 November 2020 for English, General Knowledge, and Mathematics papers. Union Public Service Commission will also activate the registration link on the official website of UPSC on 5 August 2020.

Combined Defence Services 2 2020 online application will start from 08 August 2020.UPSC will issue CDS 2 notification 2020 on 5 August 2020. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS) -II 2020 'notification. Applications have been sought for a total of 344 posts in the Army, Navy, Airforce. The candidates to be selected will be sent to the respective academies for training. The Commission has sought applications from women and men for these posts. Eligible and interested candidates have to apply online for these posts. The last date to apply online by visiting upsconline.nic.in is 25 August (6 PM).
CDS Exam 2020 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of the following posts:

The online application for UPSC CDS 2 2020 exam will start from 5 August. The last date for submission of an online application will be 25 August 2020. Here you will be told all the procedures till receiving and submitting the application through general instructions.
How to apply for the CDS (II) 2020 exam?
Follow the steps given below to apply online for CDS 2 Exam 2020:
First of all, the candidate has to go to the official site upsconline.nic.in/.
Click on the online application for various examinations of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
In the online application page, click on Combined Defense Services Examination (II) Click Here for Part I column.
Carefully read all the instructions given under the section of the PART and click Yes below.
Now UPSC CDS application will appear on your screen.
Now fill in your personal details and contact details exactly right.
Select preference for academies according to age and qualification.
Now continue to the next step. Your registration ID will be generated here.
The candidates should then proceed to Part II of the application form.
After this, the candidate has to submit his application fee.
After the application fee is paid, you select the desired examination center according to your comfort.
Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature as per the file size and dimensions specified in the official notification.
Please check once before submitting the application form.
Print/download the application form for future use.
UPSC CDS application fee for candidates is Rs 200 / -.
SC, ST, and Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
You can submit the application fee both offline and online.
Candidates can get the application fee through net banking, MasterCard / Debit Card or cash deposit in any branch of SBI Bank, etc. by any means.

Must be a candidate:
Candidates should have citizenship of India.
Those candidates who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of being permanent settlers in India from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees.

Educational qualification criteria
For Indian Military Academy (IMA):
Candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognized university.
For Indian Naval Academy (INA):
Candidates should have an engineering degree from a recognized university.
For Indian Air Force Academy (IAFA):
Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics subjects in Class 12th as well as Engineering Degree (B.Tech) from a recognized university.
For Officers' Training Academy
The candidate has a graduate from a recognized university.
