Hows to get SSC CHSL Results 2020: Download Steps
Follow the steps given by us to get SSC CHSL Result 2020-
First of all, candidates go to the official website of SSC ssc.nic.in.
After opening the home page, you will see the result option at the top, click it.
On the result page, you will see the option of CHSL at the top number on the top, click it.
Now on the result page, click on the option of the exam for which you want to see the result.
If any information is asked on the results page, then fill it and press the submit or search button.
Your result will appear in front of you after clicking.
Now candidates should download their results and also take a print out of it.
The selection procedure has determined by the commission. Check below the method of selection for the SSC CHSE:
Computer Based Test: The CHSE tier-1 exam is an objective type exam. The candidates will have 1 hour for this exam. There will be 100 questions of 2 marks each question. The wrong answers will also have a negative marking of 0.5 marks. The applicants who clear the cut-off marks qualify the exam and are eligible to appear in the next level.
Written Test: The applicants who clear the Tier-1 exam are eligible to perform in the written exam. The candidates will have 1 hour to write the answers. Candidates can attempt the questions in ether Hindi language or Eglish Language. The question paper will have a question an Essay of 200-250 words and a Letter or Application of approximately 150-200 words.
Skill Test/ Typing Test:
The candidates who clear the written exam are called for the skill test (Typing). Below is the scheme to qualify for the exam.

Document Verification: After passing the skill test, candidates called for document verification round. The eligibility criteria are verified with the documents. Below are the documents that the candidates must take to the verification round.
Post Preference: The candidate needs to determine the preference of post for allotment during the round of document verification.
Final Allotment: The candidates are allotted posts on the basis vacancies. The merit list for the final allotment is prepared while considering the result of Tier-1 and Tier-2 and the preference of post.
Physical Efficiency Test, Physical and Medical Standard: Board of Officers, appointed by HQ, Director General Border Roads conducts PET at GREF center or respective recruitment center. It is only for LDC in Border Roads Organization.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under the Government of India which recruits employees for various posts in various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in subordinate offices. The Commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) consisting of the Chairman, two members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. On 4 November 1975, the Government of India set up a commission called the Subordinate Services Commission. On 26 September 1977, the Subordinate Services Commission was renamed as Staff Selection Commission.
Tie-Breaking Criteria in SSC CHSL Result 2020
There can be cases when two or more applicants may score marks similar to each other. In such cases, the tie-breaking rule which is written below are taken into consideration:
Firstly, the marks scored in the exam are analyzed.
Then, the date of birth of the candidates is considered. The applicants older in age are given preference.
If the tie still continues, the name of the candidates in alphabetical order is considered.
