The candidate should have passed the Bachelor of Law (LLB) examination from a University / Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
To participate in BPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2020, the age of the candidate should be a minimum of 22 years and a maximum of 35 years as on 01 August 2019.
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates and women and disabled candidates.
The selection process for BPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2020
The selection of BPSC 31st Judicial Examination will be done on the basis of the BPSC Judicial Service Preliminary Examination, BPSC Judicial Service Mains Examination, and Interview. The examination for BPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2020 will be held in two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will have 100 marks general study questions while paper 2 will have 150 questions related to law.
Bihar Judicial Service Examination Pattern:
To be selected for the post, candidates have to appear for two examinations. The first exam will be of 100 marks and will include general awareness while the second exam will be of 150 marks. Selected candidates will also have to undergo document verification and medical tests.
There are three steps in the Bihar Judicial Service competitive exam. It consists of a prelims exam, the main exam, and an interview. In order to be successful in the prelims exam, candidates of the general category have to bring at least 45 percent marks. While it is 40 percent for SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang.
The prelims exam consists of two papers. In the first paper, questions of 100 marks of General Studies are asked, while in the second paper there are 150 marks questions related to Judicial.
Exam Pattern of Bihar Judicial Service Mains Exam
Candidates who succeed in the prelims exam get a chance to appear in the Mains exam. Men's exam is a total of 600 marks.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs - 150 marks
Elementary General Science - 100 Marks
General Hindi - 100 marks
General English - 100 marks
Law of Evidence and Procedure - 150 questions consisting of 150 marks.

The last date to apply online was April 13, but due to Covid-19, its dates were changed several times. After this change, the last date for online application was fixed on 15 June.
